We are an industrial refrigeration contracting company that designs and builds industrial refrigeration systems for the food processing industry. With my partner, Richard Wells, we formed B & W Refrigeration, Inc. in 1983.

          We have designed and installed systems for cooling wine, blast freezing beef and fish products, freezer storage of institutional products, hydro cooling fresh fruit, hydro cooling carrots, forced air pre-cooling of perishable fruit products and controlled atmosphere storage of apples and pears. We have installed the following types of systems:

• Hydro coolers with water
• Hydro coolers with ice
• Forced air pre-cool rooms
• High humidity/long term storage rooms
• Controlled atmosphere storage rooms

          In addition to installing mechanical refrigeration equipment, we provide computerized control systems which utilize the most advanced control algorithms to maintain products at the proper temperature while consuming the least amount of electrical energy.
